Evans practice concentrates on representation of individuals in personal injury, medical malpractice, employment law and civil rights law. Prior to joining Meyers Kenrick Giuffre and Evans, he enjoyed a successful practice for 22 years as a partner in the law firm of Evans Portnoy & Quinn.

Throughout his 39 year career, Evans has never shied away from the hard social and legal issues of our time. Evans has developed a prestigious reputation in the legal community as a staunch defender of individual rights. He feels that the legal system is often slanted against the victim and that our rights are fragile and need diligent defense. Evans identifies with people injured due to the actions or negligence of others, and is passionate about getting his clients full compensation and justice.

Evans has been active in contributing to his profession and the community for nearly 40 years. He has been recognized in his field, including being named in the prestigious national publication "Best Lawyers in America" for his successful handling of personal injury cases. In the community, he has offered his services to the less fortunate by doing pro bono work for organizations such as the Turtle Creek Valley Mental Health Corporation, among others.

His accomplishments include: President of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and its Western Chapter where he chaired its Legislative Policy Committee; former Statewide President of Lawyers for Consumer Rights; served as a State Delegate and as a Governor of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America; member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County; member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Evans was born and raised in New Brighton, Pennsylvania. His keen interest in law, politics and the way our system of government works motivated him to become a lawyer. He received his B.A. in Economics from Geneva College in 1964 and his J.D. in 1967 from Duquesne University School of Law. He was admitted in 1967 to practice in the state courts of Pennsylvania and federal courts.

Married for over 38 years, Chuck Evans has three grown children – two daughters and a son. When not working, he enjoys reading, golf, sports, and is active in local politics.
